we have an LCR meter (Agilent E4980A, basic) which don't have an in built DC bias option for CV measurement for my device. we have a source meter keithley 238 which can be used as a voltage source.
is there any possible circuit for making, to use external voltage bias by using keithley 238 with lcr meter?
please not that
(there are some External Voltage Bias Adapter is available in market (Link Added). but it is too expensive.)
(E4980 version 001 have this voltage bias facility that we don't have)

holds the "16065C 40Vdc External Voltage Bias Adapter Operation and Service Manual", which includes the parts specifications as well as a schematic diagram (p. 25 of the pdf). Plus everything else you might need to copy the circuit.

However, a problem may have more than one solution.
You can yourself make your biasing circuit and ac couple your device under test to the rlc meter. Assume it is a diode, then you dc bias the diode by a power supply in series with a resistance and a choke to prevent the ac current from entering the bias circuit .
Then you connect he diode through coupling capacitor to the the rlc meter.
For sizing the inductor its reactance must be much greater than the impedance of the diode reactance at the measurement frequency. The reacrance of the coupling capacitor must be must be much smaller than the impedance of the diode.
I used this bias and coupling circuit many times to measure the impedance of semiconductor diodes and solar cells.
My answer came late but it may be useful for other colleagues.
