Historical building conservation raises two important issues which are documentation and refurbishing. For the recording and documentation, I am sure some researcher developed 3d laser scanner and such photogrammetry technology those represent a freeze object of virtual reality by digital documentation. Dear Dr Abbas are interesting in geometry information or historic information?
Thank you for your answer, I am interesting with the structural and architectural representation of the building. This mean the geometric information for the building.
I think 3d laser scanner is the better way because gives you a point cloud. You can import this geometry inside differet BIM software and model your building. Thanks to infrared imaging, you see hidden structures.
