I have a specific question on Means-End Chain (MEC) on how to account for the aspects of qualitative rigor – i.e. reliability (reflexivity), validity (trustworthiness) and rigor (authenticity).

I have gone through the book and the classic paper of Reynolds on the means-end chain. It will be of help if you could provide details/steps to determine reliability (reflexivity), validity (trustworthiness) and rigor (authenticity) specific to the study in the means-end chain (with references to papers).
