When fabricating the PM6:Y6 based organic solar cells, will the rest time before annealing affect the morphology of the active layer? After spin-coated PM6:Y6, immediate thermal annealing is or 5-10 mins rest time before the annealing is preferred? Does CF and CB solvent show a difference related to this?

I think the best answer to your question is that you can study it by your self as this parameter may have effect on the morphology of the deposited layer.
If the solving material evaporates in an appreciable rate at room temperatures then leaving the spin on layer without annealing for a time span will have effect on the morphology of the deposited layer. Whether this effect is positive is a matter of investigation.

Dear Leiping Duan , I also think a better choice is to try by yourself. In our lab, we usually anneal PM6:Y6 devices together after spin-coated all active layers. Thus the rest time normally would be long (10 min or even longer). But the performance of PM6:Y6 could agree well with the reported literature.
In terms of CF/CB solvent, I think CB may be more sensitive to the rest time before annealing PM6:Y6 than CF since its boiling point is high and it wouldn't evaporate immediately, leading to the molecules dwelling and crystalizing in wet film. But the actual results need you to demonstrate it.
