I have data from in-depth analysis and wish to apply the narrative analysis of it. Please guide the resourced from where i can learn the narrative analysis , with some examples of presenting and writing the analysis.
Dear Kanika, if I understand you correctly, you already have data from in-depth interviews and want to do a narrative analysis of the data? Did you have a narrative design relating to your research question? Or did the data appear in a strongly narrative form? From what I have understood there are different approaches to narrative analysis/analysis of narratives so it is quite difficult to answer your question, other than that you would have to check the available literature yourself and find a method that can be applied to address your particular needs for the study. E.g. Are you interested in the thematic content or the form/structure of the narratives in your interviews? I do know that Catherine Kohler Riessman (1993) has written a book (more like a pamphlet in size) entitled Narrative Analysis, this would probably be a good starting point for further reading. Best, Birgitta
Kanika, I would recommend Brett Smith's chapter on Narrative analysis, available here: Article Smith, B. (2016). Narrative analysis. In E. Lyons & A. Coyle...
He outlines different types of analysis within narrative analytic methods, such as thematic, rhetorical, visual, interactional, etc., that may help you choose what works best for you, your data and research goals.
Hi Kanika, here are some sources which I think are good example of NA, or give insight into the process of conducting NA. I often find reading a good example of the method I am trying to use is very helpful in getting me started on my own attempts. Leslie Curry (Yale University) also has a nice introduction to qualitative methods and analysis on her youtube page. Good luck!

This really depends on your research question and understanding of narrative and the way it "works".
For instance, if you are inteested in narrative identity, you may choose from a wide gamut of analytic strategies that would be irrelevant if you are interested in researching a lived experience.
Be more specific regarding what it is that you wish to learn, and you may get better guidance as to how to go about finding answers to your questions.
For the time being, you may want to have alook at the following literature:
