inserting a distributed generators in distribution system improves the distribution network performance in terms of minimizing of power losses and simultaneously improves the voltage stability of the system. But up to what extent it should be added? and how it influences on existing system.
optimally adding distributed generators in distribution system reduces the power losses and improves voltage stability and voltage profile, but keep on inserting these sources, the stability of the system is reduced and power losses are increased. So consider both power loss minimization and voltage stability improvement simultaneously than on only achieves desired goal.

There are certain limits. The DG power cannot be more than 25% of Grid power , otherwise stability problem comes if DGs maloperates.
