Upon testing the reliability and validity of a scale, the results show that some items or statements have low factor loadings which are subjected to be deleted. How sure are we that the deleted item doesn't affect the model or the framework of the study? What if that item plays a significant role in the scale? Is there a way to check it? Thanks
