I am an SLP, Vision Therapist and I do Interactive Metronome. I attended a Hands on Hearing seminar yesterday. I learned that some CI recipients have a significant difference in their comprehension abilities between the left and right ears. Several said they could understand better in their older system! One person said that research proves their is an ideal time to implant the second one-- so the two will "marry" in the brain. I just want to know what does research show.

Thanks,
