If the concentration of ( Lauric acid , Undecanal dimethyl acetal, Lignoceric acid, Cyclopropaneoctanoic acid, 2-hexyl- methyl ester, Methyl 18-methylnonadecanoate) below 1 %, it will give the significant properties for biodiesel and if its more than 1% ??
Hi Abdulkreem.....I think acids and aldehydes are in general giving a corrosive effect into the machine even other parameters are fulfilling the requirement (physical properties flashpoint, kinematic flow etc).

how about GC calculation ?
Sir - depends on what You want to do? Are You trying to kill all 'life' (bacteria) in biodiesel? Or maybe You trying to catch NOx from emissions? Or maybe You trying to make biodiesel much more effective in burning process? Or maybe You trying to secure Your type of biodiesel to storage it only in polyethylene containers (because acid make corrosion)? It is really hard to say what will be. Changing the content/additives of fuel always have impact not only on changed fuel, but on the refuelling system, storage system, combustion system, emission system, environment, etc. That is why I propose to ask proper question such as: I what to kill bacteria in biodiesel - what can I do?" - maybe we will put proper answer here. Without it we can only shoot in the dark.
