The journal guidelines state:

  • Manuscript file should contain “Abstract, key words, main text, acknowledgments, references, figure legends, table.”
  • A separate Table file should include “tables of data (includes table footnotes).”

I’m unsure if this means the manuscript file should only have table titles and legends, while the full tables with data and footnotes go in the separate Table file, or if the full tables need to be included in both files.

Could anyone clarify the standard practice or share examples? I want to avoid submitting duplicate or incomplete tables.
