In my research, I used the Korean version of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI-K) which was validated in the study as below:

Sohn, S. I., Kim, D. H., Lee, M. Y., & Cho, Y. W. (2012). The reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Sleep and Breathing, 16(3), 803-812.

The previous study suggested the optimal cut-off point of 8.5. However, I am so confused since global PSQI score (ranged 0-21) as well as each PSQI component score (ranged 0-3) have no decimals. Do this cut-off value of 8.5 mean that the real cut-off point is 9 or over?
