I am conducting experiments on the fatigue behavior of machined in different condition CFRP. I need to obtain the S-N curve of composite material with 3 different tensile strengths due to different conditions on same material. The tensile amplitude will be 90%, 70% and 30% of the tensile strength.
Do you think I should take 90%, 70% and 30% of the tensile strength of each composite material for the S-N curve? Or should I determine the tensile amplitudes according to the composite material with the minimum tensile strength to compare the conditions?

(2017) “Numerical Calculation of Stresses in Helical Cable Elements Subject to Cable Bending and Twisting”, 58th SIMS, Reykjavik, Iceland.
