you can use the properties and technical information of your AC and the adsorbate, and try to model in a computer, or you will need to do different test with the concentrations of cephalexin (10, 20, ... x%), in the fixed bed. after one or another situation, review your plot of conc vs eff absortion. you need to maintain the temperature constante or pH, you can try too different quantities of AC or bed high.
