RG Score algorithm is unknown to me, at this point, but I am working on it, and I am confident to crack it after at least 5-6 more results!
According to RG FAQ, RG Score is evaluated based on a user's contributions and interactions.
Contributions includes you publications (articles, books, conference papers, datasets, and technical reports) in addition to questions raised and answered.
Therefore, in sense of publications you deal with two major impacts; citations and the impact factors. However, it's clear to my eyes that publications without impact factor (including papers) has also affected your RG Score, but I still need to work on it's effective factor.
Sarcastically, raising questions has more impact than publications and answering the questions.
I concluded that the amount of people who follow you, unlike what RG has claimed, has no impact, or definitely very insignificant impact, on you RG score. That's the same about your endorsement and institute. (that's why I removed my institute this week).
I have 3 other hypotheses which I am working on them.
In addition, few other things must be calculated as well, including self-citations and impacts within disciplines & research areas. For instance, the most respected journals in humanities and social science happen to have lower impact factor than the those on bottom of the list in biochemistry and genealogy.
You shall stay tuned for the precise results of my evaluation.
