I think the gamification method used inside ResearchGate play an important role to motivate researchers...
I think that RG provides an excellent probability for receiving newly published papers, especially from unavailable journals. As a rule, colleagues efficiently answer my requests, sometimes in a couple of hours. Besides, it is much easier (especially for young scientists) to submit a professional question to a more experienced colleague through RG than to write a letter to his/her personal address.

I´m a beginner in research matters, and it has been very motivated for me to participate in this platform because I receive feedback, guidance, documents, papers for enrichment my work. I agree with B K Sharma "excellence is our own duty", but share comments, recomendations, documents, etc, contributes to promote it.
The research gate is one of the most important scientific communication sites in the world. It offers us the opportunity to communicate with others on a local, regional and international level. The research gate also provides us with the opportunity to refine our reactions in scientific ways sober, clear and effective research gate contributes to the intellectual and scientific induction and communication with others and hold various discussions of diverse minds studied in different academies of the world. Different scientific perspectives allow us to identify those closest to us in our research.

Contributing to Research-gate helps to keep one 'sharp' whether as a beginning or more experienced researcher; one can share considered understandings about research, or even find that one has to reconsider one's ideas in light of other contributions.
