I have simulated a patch antenna for mmWave frequency. The parameters like gain vs frequency, radiation and total efficiency, |S11| and VSWR are excellent. But when I plot for far-field patterns the radiation patterns (E-plane and H-plane) are not good enough.

Please clarify for the 2D polar plot in CST what settings required either Phi constant for cut angle 0 and 90 degrees or theta constant and cut angle 0 and 90 degrees.

I have shared the results that I got after the simulation for both conditions:

1. Phi constant- cut angle 0 and 90 degrees

2. Theta constant- cut angle 0 and 90 degrees

My design: x-axis- width of the patch, Y-axis- Length of the patch, Patch faces +ve z-direction.
