Dear All,

The topic - SEM - is a part of the syllabus in most of applied econometrics textbooks. According to my observations, indirect least squares, rank or order conditions of identification , and structural and reduced-form equations are employed few and far between in the recent research articles especially, after the advent of VAR models. I would be appreciated if you could share your views or experience whether this topic is still taught and/or included in teaching syllabus at your University. What is the current importance of this topic in practical applications? Thank you.
