You need first to read carefully the guide for authors of the journal, then if you did not find satisfied answer ask the editor or people in charge. However generally 3 months is a usual time to process your manuscript, after that the editor send you the results of your manuscript in case of accepting manuscript with minimum or major revision that is good news, in this case the matter between your hands, so do revision meticulously and answer all the questions and back to the editor with your revised manuscript. After that the editor will review your manuscript and compare your revisions with the comments of the 2 reviewers then he/she take a decision to accept or reject or even ask you for more clarification that all steps takes about 4 months. Some journals takes 5-6 months.

It is utterly depending on your skills in how to present (writing style, explaining research core idea, ... other main factors) your proposed paper, and you will see that after few years of experience, your papers will takes relatively short time duration for publication. T&F journals usually take very less time in responding to the author about the status of their submitted paper. But as far as publishing the paper is concerned, it depends on the issue of the journal in which they are going to publish your paper.
