I want to use sulfuric acid as an amendment to alleviate sodium hazard in irrigation water. If water samples contain one miliequivalent RSC/litre, how much sulfuric acid will be required to neutralize it?
Even if you overcome the alkalinity by neutralising with sulphuric acid you may still be left with an issue regarding the sodium absorption ratio. Take care.
