I have material around 300 mg and I want to purify it using flash column chromatography, so how much silica gel should I add for dry packing?
Also how much should I use if I want to use ISOLUTE

Typically, flash chromatography purification of 1g of sample will require 20 g to 100 g of silica, and 200 to 1000mL of total elutant volume. If the column is successful, the desired component should be eluted in no more than 1/10 of the total elutant volume.

Kashif Ameer Thank you Dr. Kashif, this is the amount for the column itself what about the preparation of the sample if the sample is not liquid we should add solvent and silica to the sample first, how much should we add?
Ahmed Amin As your sample is only 300 mg so you may add merely 50 g to the sample first and then go ahead
