How much Resazurin in LB?

I am trying to make an anaerobic liquid LB medium, and am using Resazurin as an indicator of the redox state of the media. However... most protocols say to use 1mg/L of resazurin, but at this concentration I can not see the colouration of the resazurin against the yellow LB. When I add 3mg/L, I can see the blue/pink colouration, but I am worried this amount will be toxic to my cells? Has anyone used this high a conc before?

In growth medium I typically try to keep the Resazurin concentration below 2% but there have been studies to investigate if Resazurin has a toxic level towards bacteria (see below).
