This is a query. We need to find any physical method to ensure complete evaporation of organic solvent from non-aqueous emulsion (oil-in-oil). It is probable that the external oil phase work as a protective shield which prevents evaporation of the internal methanolic phase.???

I would like to suggest Solvent evaporation Method to evaporate methanol completely from the non-aqueous emulsion. A part of the prepared emulsion was transferred to a glass test tube. The non-aqueous dispersion was obtained via evaporation of methanol from the emulsion by bubbling with Ar gas at 40 °C for 3 h. You can also do evaporation under vacuum at 40 °C.
