I am doing a study on Dry matter and TSS prediction of multi-year fruit NIRS spectra. I want to develop calibration model of DM and TSS separately for each year using PLS tool box. I have created separate spectral and DM/TSS parameter for each year in same matlab file. While feeding the parameter in Y box of PLS tool box I could not find more than 4 parameters of TSS and no DM parameter showed up. Could any body tell me how could I resolve this issue or there is any limitation on number of Y variable in PLS toolbox?

I think there is not limitation with using PLS tool box in Matlab. I think you could easy make a calibration on a given year data set and validate the model with the data set of an other year. Such a procedure is possible with matlab. Howvever I did not understand exactly your problem. Could you detail the sentence "While feeding the parameter in Y box of PLS tool box I could not find more than 4 parameters of TSS and no DM parameter showed up".
