I read in the Internet that literature review should be 20% of the whole sessile and I want to know for certain and about the other percentage of pages of each chapter. I agree with you that there should be appropriate covering for each chapter but number of page in each chapter should be proportional to each other. For example I cannot write 20 pages in the result chapter and write 50 pages in the literature review.
You are self imposing page limits. You COULD write a 50 page lit review and 20 pages of results. Would not be easy, but possible. You are thinking about proportions of a paper like an undergraduate student would. Free yourself from page limits and write, edit, revise. There is no magic number here.
Every supervisor set his or her own standard, reflecting the research culture they belong to. Check theses written by your supervisors and their previous students.
This is a fundamental question for each thesis; however, there is no standard style and will vary according to many factors including coherence, completeness and self-contained thesis. Usually, I advise my students to write an introduction chapter that contains all preliminaries; a chapter of main results followed by chapters of analysis, examples and demonstrations, and conclusions.
