Hello, when we manually prepare the 2216 medium, a slight precipitate forms. This is normal as far as we have reviewed in the literature. The problem is that after 2 weeks of storage, the medium begins to precipitate too much and becomes completely cloudy. It is not a problem of microbial contamination because we have plated said medium and no microbe grows. So we have doubts about the lifetime of the medium once it has been prepared.
