I am interested in studying the evolution of plant metabolic systems, from cyanobacteria to today's vast diversity of species and plant families. Having learned that plants have a clock, I am wondering how the lunar patterns have been adapted to as plants evolved, as a developmental, systems, and evolutionary biology project, to help chemical engineering research. Plant and moon interactions have been myth and should be reconsidered in the era of molecular, cellular and genetic understanding.
