I used vermiculite as a medium for soybean roots and then apply SA solution to the roots for to the check the effect of exogenous SA on the expression pattern of some genes using qRT-PCR. I repeated the experiment several times but the results are contradictory everytime. I am planning to use hydroponic solution instead, to ensure the uniform distribution of SA to the whole root. it will also allow the uniform distribution of rhizobia to the root, I guess. I just want a suggestion from someone who has already worked with a hydroponic solution to suggest the best nutrient solution for soybean roots and also the frequency at which the nutrient should be added regularly.

Thanks in anticipation
