Convection relations in the internal flow is depend on whether it is in the developed region or at the entrance, the flow is calm or turbulent, the temperature is fixed on the wall, or the heat flux on the wall is fixed. so we choose relationships based on these properties. but how we work out Nusselt number or convection coefficient in blood vessels? which relations should we use?
the flow of the blood in the blood vessels is laminar flow. The turbulence in blood flow will happens in the valves only when the blood will return to the heart. the the heat transfer can be calculate.
