We know that Fimbriae helps in cell attachment and biofilm formation, and that's how involved in pathogenicity but how fimbrial adhesins and non-fimbrial adhesins differ in pathogenic cell surface attachment? How Non-fimbrial adhesins cause pathogenicity or are virulence in nature?

Both fimbrial and non-fimbrial adhesins help the bacteria in binding to the host cells.

Itis non-fimbrial adhesins but it may have another way for pathogenicity like for example acquisition of pathogenic genes by transportation,conjugation and transduction,releasing toxin and so on...
