Hi. I'm studying about radiation-induced changes of parotid glands. I read in an article that radiation-induced fatty replacement may reduce the ct number of parotid glands. Now I'm wondering how radiation-induced fatty replacement ( that happens for a bone)can affect and reduce the ct number of parotid gland as a soft tissue. I will be thankful if you share your knowledge with me.
