I want to know how CA is explained or interpreted in terms of stability of a catalyst material. Can it be used for pointing out anti poisoning ability of a nanocatalyst like Pd ( for eg: while testing for EOR or MOR )
Chronoamperometry is usually used to test the electrocatalytic behaviour of an electrode material and its applicability as sensor. It is also used to study the effects of the applied potentials on the catalytic
responses of the electrode.
Stability of a catalyst can be studied by using cyclic voltammetry method by measuring the decrease in the voltammetric peak current during potential cycling, or by comparing its initial response with its response after storage in laboratory atmosphere during many days.
