We perform anesthesia using inhalation agent ether and collecting blood after decapitation.
Blood are collected in tubes with coagulant gel. After 15 minutes on the room temperature, blood are centrifuged on 3000 rpm during 10 minutes.
Received after centrifugation serum is always hemolyzed.

I wonder if the red cell membranes are being affected by passage through the lung which is full of ether fumes which may weaken the membrane in which case spinning at a lower G force (or not using ether) may help the red cells to remain intact
