Scientific research contributes to consciously reflect so much variety and diversity explains why coexistence , cohabitation and duration of necessary and inevitable contradictions , both in organizations and in society , and thus revitalizes , renews, rethinks and reinvents constantly to them , so they can respond to new and recurring expectations and demands of multistakeholders ( stakeholders where it includes members of the community) and the instruments to be adopted through which you can manage the complexity and establish the strengths and weaknesses previously identified .
Great question! In science, we generally plan experiments and control factors in a way that we get some reasonable answers. In contrast, administration and management are typically chaotic in many respects and we cannot control them to the degree that we seen in planned experiments. But we can collect retrospective outcomes and begin to get some clarity on what is better. My perspective is that nothing overcomes bold ideas and imaginative undertakings ("putting a man on the moon" by John F. Kennedy). One can collect more "controlled" data in certain organizations. For example, in a university, which departments or colleges excel and why? This can be addressed with real data. In a start-up company, it is much more challenging. In a large, multinational company like Toyota, it may be a bit easier. Stakeholders differ from shareholders, so one way to look at public and private sector differences may be to look at the differences in perspectives between stakeholders and shareholders.
