I think large sampling and plotting them into some GIS mapping could help you to develop such kind of map. You can use either QGIS or ArcGIS for building such kind of map.
Get the historic data on heavy metal from various parts of Iraq and display the results in the mean, median, maximum and minimum through bar chart and symbols in GIS. It can be based on annual data or monthly data of heavy metals, depending on data availability and variability.
Literature for such already available. collect the data. Read and examine such map of other countries and select best of them. modify the model and apply,
