I have gone through many articles related to MQ gas sensors about measuring right ppm value of LPG, CO2 or CO gas in the surrounding atmosphere. But non of them says about the mathematical derivation of ppm value from an analog reading. Can anyone help me in this regard? I am badly in need of help.
Not my field but I would ask the equipment manufacturer. My guess is that you need calibration gas mixtures
At first you need to calibrate with the standard values in known GAS chamber and then you check it with the other standard to get it. Actually MQ series sensor are bit common available from sparkfun so you can ask them for the their calibrated values
I agree with Dr Krishnan that with calibration withs standards and through a curve an expression could be obtained. Confirm your expressions with several repetions of known standard
Usually these sensors are in linear in their range like lm35(temperature sensor)
