Post you pictures.
The only advice that can be given without seeing your pictures is: align your SEM properly, when taking pictures follow manufacturer recommendations.
You need a high resolution SEM machine and proper dry sample to get good quality image. Good luck.

Magnetic materials are not a problem for SEM. Actually, it's much easier to work, say, with iron than with glass.
