I have a question about this paper ("A method for detection and correction of outliers in time series data") How I can calculate the cut-off point? in the paper it was (3.66) but I can't know how it was calculated so, can you tell me about the steps or statistical method which used for the calculation. I have had a look at that paper, and I am not sure what your question is. The paper proposes a method, and then sets out how to implement that method in detail. It seems that all the information you need is in the paper. Maybe you could talk over the detailed method set out in the paper with an academic supervisor.
