Hi, as the title says, how are administration systems different across the world ?

For example in Iran, there are public and private hospitals. The majority of public hospitals are directly supervised by their respective medical school's vice president and the medical schools are supervised by the ministry of health. In summary:

Ministry of health > Medical Schools > Public Hospitals

I have no idea about the hospital administration hierarchy across the world. Is this system pretty much universal? does it have a name?

I need this in order to report the context of a research. Any help from any part of the world is much appreciated.
