I have synthesized the films of CH3NH3PbCl3 onto glass substrates via one step spin coating and have obtained 3.8 eV. The achieved bandgap is 0.7 eV higher than the reported values. What might be the reasons behind it?
Thickness of the film will affect the energy gap if its in the range of several nanometers particularly less than 10nm
