Okay, I understand that visual fixation is essential for vision research. However, one of my recent findings says that fixation causes blindness under certain condition, such as very dilated pupils, or blurriness. Intentionally, I tried to maximize the effect of blindness with my special stimulus to warn the other researchers about any possible drawbacks of the fixation. Namely, I think it's always there with fixation, but the invisibility had several degrees; but I had reported the worst one. I am wondering whether this factor had been considered in the research based on behavioral recordings. You may find my article in the following link:
