How feed rate and rotational velcoity is given in Abaqus to a drill bit?

Hello everybody,

I am working on FEM of drilling CFRP in Abaqus. I wanted to ask how should I give the feed rate and spindle speed in Abaqus. Should I give it in Boundary condition manager or should I give it in pre defined field manager?

Moreover I am giving these velocity to a reference point which defined at tip of drill bit. Should I couple this point to drill bit in constraint manager or defining drill bit as rigid with respect to the reference point is enough ?
