I am giving an Idea to a governmental organization to give research grants for epidemilogial surveys of non communicable disease such as Cardiological disease, dental caries and etc.
We have 14 regions in Uzbekistan and have 33 million population. As far as I know there is no true numbers about prevalance of diseases.
So I think we need to work with experienced specialist to calibrate our domestic researchers and get grants for the epidemioligcal survey, then develop strategic action plan to primarily prevent these diseases.
So I would like to ask if I am thinking right and I also would like to invite experienced specialist for collaboration.
It would be a great thing to initiate in your country. According to WHO now most of the people are dying because of NCD and cardiovascular diseases are the topmost reasons. Similarly, most of the countries' governments do not provide any funds to do research and program to promote oral health and raise awareness pertaining to Dental Diseases. So, if you have any scope to get funds from your government, please do so.
