We have magnetic tips from Nanosensors (PPP-MFM- Reflex Coating). It is suggested that magnetization of the tip by a permanent magnet is necessary prior to the measurement. I have also found that magnetic holders or Magnetisers from Veeco are used for the procedure. I would like to know a more efficient and economical way to magnetize the tips from people using this technique for their research.

Pousali Ghosh - in principle every stronger NdFeB permanent magnet should work.
As Raivo Stern mentioned, any strong magent you may find on your daily life could work.
Place the magnetic tip with the tweezers close to the center of the magnet for a while. After that, separate vertically and slowly the tip from the magnet. The magnetic field is only perpendicular around the center of the magnet, so if you release the tip fastly, the magentic domains of the tip will be very likely get misaligned.
