Corruption is abundant in many countries in the world of today & it has grip on various sectors starting from the top and moving down to the bottom.
A cursory look at the suffering of people due to the widespread corruption may cause dismay in some educated persons and may cause incentives to fight it by other sensible cultured thinkers.
The first cornerstone in fighting corruption is to have a genuine heroic honest leader, at the top, who sets a good example to follow. Once this humanbeing is available, designing mechanisms to hit corruption with several fatal blows will ensue. The effort will not be that hard since corruption, by its naure, is cowardly sneaky practice. Add to it, that the rings of corruption are interlinked so when one ring is smashed others will follow by a domino effect.
In 3rd world countries, the most corrupt persons are those who are appointed as rulers by the colonial power. If these are knocked down, more than 90% of the corruption may be terminated in a very short time.
