I don't use SPSS, but probably due to the choice of denominator (n vs n-1) which depends on whether your SD is from a population or from a sample of that population.

It is because SPSS use sample Standard deviation formula which has n-1 in denominator and excel use population Standard deviation formula which has only n in denominator. This is the reason we get different results in SPSS and Excel while calculating Standard deviation.
