Some researchers argue that the impact factor of a journal is the indicator. Some other argue that the sources (country coverage) of the citation can be another indicator. However, for me both of them have similar approaches, reader perspective...

How can we use multiple indicators or measurement to see how much a journal is international?

Can we add knowledge production sources specifically country coverage and data sources?

If a journal has high impact factor but no writer(s) from other countries can we say this journal is still an international one?

Or

If the sources of data come from one or a couple of countries, can we argue still that a high impact journal is an international?

What kinds of other measurements can we use?
