How does one find out adequate or optimum thickness of landfill liners (CCL or GCL)?

Landfill liner system and cover systems design..

Hello

This will depend on the climatic conditions where the landfill is located. There are many codes available to estimate the amount of water that percolates through the liner such as HELP 3.95D. You can suggest different liner thicknesses and from that you can decides the suitable thickness that meets your requirements.
