Our research adviser discouraged us from placing orders on Arachis hypogaea lectin from international suppliers because of the cost, thus we decided to extract lectin from peanut seeds ourselves. We have read some papers about peanut lectin and no two papers present similar methods. We found a promising paper by Ahmed, Ali, and Sitren (link provided) published in 1988, but we were worried that it might be outdated.
