I am in the process of wanting to publish articles or contributions from my MA and MPhil research - what are some practical tips or ways to go about writing an article and choosing what to take and leave?
It is very easy to do that if you follow these steps.
1- You can write one article from each research question. You can choose one question from the research questions of your thesis.
2- Follow the standard format of writing a research paper.
3- First, you should copy/paste the relevant materials from your thesis that support your research question of the article including tables and graphs.
4- Rewrite each part of your research paper focusing on the research question.
5- The paper must have unity, cohesion and coherence without spelling and grammar mistakes.
6- The plagiarism must be less than 19%.
7- Also, follow the instructions of the journal in which you want to publish your paper. It is better if the journal is HEC recognized in your country.
Follow the prescribed format of the research journal where you plan to submit your paper for publication.
Usually:
1. a brief introduction of your study including the research/knowledge gaps,
2. direct yet comprehensive discussion of your research methodology (research design, sample and sampling technique, data gathering tool and procedure, and your data analysis.
3. Short but substantial presentation and discussion of your research findings with supporting citations
4. Summary, conclusion and recommendations are concise and direct to the point.
5. Reference used.
Note:
Follow the Prescribed Research Format of the Publisher (Journal)
