How does leftism differ from liberalism? Why? Leftism only values both harm avoidance and reciprocity without in-group loyalty, authority and or purity. Whereas liberals emphasize both harm avoidance and reciprocity yet also, to a lesser extent, they(liberals) value in-group loyalty, authority and or purity. Thus, leftists are farther left while liberals are only more left than conservatives(supporters of the status quo).
